Renzi’s Bio
For more than 20 years, The Magic of Renzi has been making people laugh, be amazed, and providing memorable moments for family audiences from all over the world.
Renzi started out learning magic at the tender age of 4 years old, but it wasn't until he was 17 that he realized that magic was more than just a hobby, it was a way of life. That's when he got his first job in a magic shop in Myrtle Beach, SC. He spent his summer driving from his hometown in Whiteville, NC so he could begin to hone his skills as a performer.
He finished high school and attended University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he studied theater while performing for companies and private functions. After his last year of school Renzi returned to Myrtle Beach where he went to work for Conley's House of Magic as a demonstrator and sales associate. Soon after he was named as assistant manager and head demonstrator.
Another interesting thing happened his first day at Conley's - he met his future wife, Nicky. Nicky and Renzi dated for over 14 years before getting married. During that time they had a lot going on, including performing, culinary school and battling cancer. Renzi and Nicky now have been together for over 18 yrs and have a beautiful and precocious daughter, Mickinley.
Under the tutelage of master magician Ron Conley, Renzi refined the skills that would make him one of the best family entertainers that money can buy. Over the years he has designed, created, and built his own illusions and magic. Some of these illusions are all original and have never been seen by the magic community.
His new focus in magic is a touring illusion show that can be used by schools, churches, civic organizations, and any other group that would like to raise money. The show includes assistants, large scale illusions, a full set, special lighting and sound. Renzi and his show will travel to bring laughter, smiles, and amazement to families all over the east coast.
Renzi has a unique way of twisting the norm into the unexpected, all the while you are laughing and cheering. His shows always have lots of audience participation so the audience gets to become the star of the show. He is known for saying, "If I fool you, thats great. If I get you to laugh, thats fantastic. If you come away entertained, then I have done my job."
